quiet: free from disturbance or tumult; tranquil; peaceful ◊ stretch: a continuous length, distance, tract or expanse
Dale and Kirsten Becker live in Chester County, PA on a quiet stretch of land surrounded by trees and meadows. They enjoy various activities and hobbies, but it is the love of their Leonbergers, Rutger & Dutch, that brings them the most joy.
Dale is an outdoorsman at heart. An avid skier, you can find him on the slopes every weekend of the winter. He is a certified PSIA instructor who spends his weekends at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Dale’s other interests include working on his motorcycles, fly-fishing, kayak fishing and photographing the night sky.
Kirsten is passionate about Leonbergers. Over the years she has volunteered in several capacities within the Leonberger community. She enjoys training and competing with both Rutger and Dutch. Kirsten is a self taught knitter who loves to spend a quiet hour working on a knitting project with a cat in her lap and the dogs at her feet.
All that matters is what you love
and what you love is who you are
and who you are is where you are
and where you are is where you will be
when death takes you across the river.
You can’t avoid the journey but
you can wake up…now
and see where you’ve been
and where you are going.
– John Squadra, from the poem “Circle Of The One”
